On to the Giants Causeway all wrapped up with the story of Finn MacCoul - for those of you who know Ross read Finn MacCoul to his very first class ever, and then after Kate tracked the book down for him, as the very last book, to his class on his very last day!
Called into the Carrick-a-rope bridge which had just shut for the day. On to Ballintoy where a small harbour looked like something from the Mediterranean. Evidently it was used for filming "Game of Thrones" as was much of this coastline and area.
We stayed the night in Cushedall with Alex at The Village BnB - we were the only guests for that night so we had our own little TV room as well. Alex is a sheep farmer and runs the BnB to meet people - he is really dry and a lovely bloke - it took a while for him to understand Ross and vice versa. Cushendall had the first stage of the Giro d'italia pass through on Friday and so the whole town was pink.
The next day we headed around the coastline to Cushenden - it was so clear we could see Scotland and the Mull of Kintyre. We stopped to admire the view and a farmer drove his flock up the hill right in front of us - something out of a movie scene.
Over to the inland and to Armoy and the Dark Hedge - another Game of Thrones scene, down to the Glenariff - Queen of the Glenn's where we went for a walk to see the waterfalls and Ross winged the whole way.
Home to our BnB, Chinese for tea and an early night.
