We have been cleaning madly getting ready for our house exchange to Coventry and then last Monday Ross found a lump in his leg - so panic stations and off to doctors and specialists - it's a clot but only surface which means he can fly but must wear very attractive stockings and take aspirin as well - better than staying home - he had to go and buy long pants just to cover these fashion statements. So you can see we have been in a mad flap but are finally settled.
We stayed overnight in Brisbane at Punthill a great little hotel at Spring Hill. Kate ran us up and we had tea before she headed back home. Lucky to have wonderful children.

We are now at the airport - Ross is getting excited and must have been to the loo 10 times and checked that our plane hasn't moved. I cant wait to just get on the plane and have a nap. The cleaning for house exchange was huge and I wouldn't do it again for less than a month exchange unless it was domestic. On the other hand I may not have to clean for years to come. I found corners in cupboards and junk to throw out that I didn't even know existed.
Finally we are heading out.
